No one owes you anything, I think you need a shotgun blast;; The darkest hour never comes in the night, when you gonna wake up and fight for yourself? It was an wonderfully quiet day. What with it being the weekend, it was truly rare to see the courtyard so peaceful. And that suited the Ravenclaw second year just fine. With everyone studying, gone to Hogsmeade, or simply just occupied otherwise...Peace was to be had. Why can't it be this way always? No douches acting up, no prissies preening themselves in public... She turned the page back in her journal, rereading what she'd written. She'd been slowly coming up with spells on her own, but needed help actually preforming them. I may have to see Potter soon. Else I'll never use these!Joan flipped back to her blank page, pencil hovering, waiting...While she thought, the doodled little clovers and flowers in the corner of the page...Hm...Flowers...Delicate, beautiful, even deadly...A spark happened in her mind, and her hand flew to write down the idea. Why hadn't she thought of this before? It was genius! Hell, she was shocked no one had thought of it sooner....While she rapidly wrote down her ideas, she became so absorbed by this that she seemed to forget that she was in public...Where anyone could find her... NOTES:: Yay! Joan's getting around~ *SHOT*

She frowned as she walked through the school. Where was she? A slight feeling of annoyance filled her mind as she searched for her friend who was no where to be found. At least inside the castle anyway. She sighed again. Not like she would do anything about it. She wouldn't like yell at her or anything. It was just that she had some home work that Viv [<--her nickname] missed the day before.
She decided to check out side to see if Joan had tried to sneak away once again to work in that little notebook of hers. As she stepped out the Main Hall door way she stood at the top of the Hogwarts entrance stairs and looked around. Where was that girl?
And then Olivia saw her. She was right in thinking that Joan was sitting by herself jotting something down in that journal of hers. Olivia simply smiled. She loved how peaceful her friend got when she was journaling. It was time away from her being harassed by everyone. The boys always trying to go after her and the girls always being jealous. Viv felt compelled to be with her, to be there for her. Joan was a good kid, just maybe a little bit on the stubborn side. Olivia didn't mind wondering in Joan's shadow sometimes when she wasn't following Anika around. In fact she would rather follow Joan around. Due to the fact that she figured that Annie herself might get a little fed up with Olivia sometimes. She didn't want to crowd her older sister so she often went to find Joan. Plus Joan was the closed thing she had to a best friend at the moment. She didn't seem to really connect with anyone else besides her older sister Anika.
She stopped at the top of the stairs for a few seconds just to give Joan a little more time to finish writing her thoughts down. When she noticed her stop moving her pen Olivia called down to her and ran over to where she was sitting.
"Hey Joan." She said quietly as she came to sit beside her friend. "Whats your newest discovery? Your making some new spells right?" she asked curiously.
