death locking
As you may have guessed and probably know Halloween is coming up soon so we kinda need a cool even to get people roleplaying and to get people to know each other better. There is nothing worse than a site where everyone is all like omg, I don't know anybody so how do I start roleplaying. Well this even is just perfect for you.
Everyone may participate in the event regardless of your characters profession or year in school. I don't care if your character is a teacher or the dark queen you can participate. It'sgoing to be an alternative world roleplaying event. This means that it is not in the real world and anything can happen.
I would also like to inform you that this event is death enabled and trust me there will be lots of deaths. Since it's an alternative universe roleplay even if your character dies from the event they're not actually dead. Isn't it great!
Now to go into further details about stuff.
Details
When you sign up for this roleplay experience you will be paired with someone's character. I shall create a thread for you and from there you shall roleplay on by yourself with the person you are paired with.
You are locked in an area of your choice it can be anywhere but you can't leave the place so maybe it can be something like an arena with a roof on it. You can not leave. This is a must.
Now here comes the catch:
Only one person can leave the event alive. Only one. If you one person is not dead by the 1st of November (may be extended) then you both lose the event. I shall explain this further in the rules
Rules
ONLY ONE CAN LEAVE | As said above. Only one character can survive the event. The other must die. If both are still alive by the deadline, they both die. The prizes shall be given to the people who survive. If your character dies before the deadline you shall be given a consolation prize. But if both of you die then none of your get anything.
NO UNFORGIVABLE CURSES | Simple. No unforgivable curses. They are unoriginal and boring. Be creative about how you kill someone!
REPLY WITHIN 2 DAYS | If you don't your character is automatically dead. Really it's boring if you don't reply. The roleplay must be snappy and long lasting. Don't
NO MOANING | Say if your character is a first year and you are paired with the Dark Queen for example. I want not complaining! I don't want to listen to it. It's for fun! Just get along with it. Try and make her float or something... Just do something! It'll be fun. Your character won't actually die.
So post below to apply. I shall be randomly pairing characters up on Tuesday (around 8-10pm GMT) so get in as soon as possible so I can start this event!
