ADDITIONAL INFO | Even though Cameron is a pure-blood, he has none of the class, money, or arrogance associated with it. His family was a small one, consisting only of himself and his parents. His parents were what might be considered blood traitors; they didn't actively support the group, but they sided with the wizards and witches who felt the magical world should integrate with the muggle one. As a result, both his parents were killed in an attack by a demon, summoned by a corrupt member of the Ministry of Magic. By some miracle, he survived. The family was believed to have died, and Caine ended up in a muggle orphanage. Even when young, he sensed something was different about him, and so did other non-magical children. Eventually his existence was noticed by ministry witch, the dots connected about the Caine family's fate, and things went on from there.
Through it all, he's managed to keep his head up. Of course, it might help that he was too young to remember the attack that left him an orphan in the first place. Since discovering his magical identity, his optimism actually increased, though he's not fool enough to think everything is sunshine and rainbows. Let's face it: he was lucky and he knew it. No point wallowing in misery or self-pity about the things that may have been. As a result of his past, Cameron is quite open-minded. Who was he to judge other people for their origins, when he himself was just a nobody?
