+ cheerful If anything can be said for Brennan, it's his cheerful nature. Well, most of the time. Unless he's incredibly bored you can almost always expect to see a smile on his face. He's a bit cluelessly happy, but hey, that's not always a bad thing right?
+ outgoing You know that guy that walks up to people and enthusiastically shakes your hand and grins in your face and decides right then that you are the best of pals? Doesn't matter what you say, in this person's mind you completely adore him. That person is Brennan. He talks to anyone and everyone, though it doesn't always work out for the best considering his... er... well you'll see later on.
+ flamboyant Brennan has convinced himself that life is something that comes down to art. Almost everything he does is in a theatrical, over-exaggerated manner. He seems to enjoy it, though it doesn't always mean the best of things at times.
+ honest Well, you can almost always count on Brennan telling you the truth about something. In fact, he completely and totally fails at keeping a secret. He's an honest person though, and will answer a question without hesitation if asked.
+ intelligent There is no doubt that Brennan actually makes an effort in his studies. He's a smart person, one of those 'quick learners', when you stick him in the right scenario.
+ against violence
+ energetic Unless sick, or for whatever reason depressed, Brennan is often brimming with energy. He's a lively fellow, the sort that skips down the hall humming to himself and enjoying a jam on his iPod between classes.
+ virtuoso Musically inclined, at least when he sits down and focuses on it. Music is about the only thing that Brennan will actually really work at getting good at. He used to have a vocal coach back home, and worked hard to get where he is instrumental wise these days. Too bad there isn't a choir or something in Hogwarts, he'll probably complain about it to someone.
+ tidy Taking great pride in his appearance, you can guarantee that Brennan is going to be keeping his workspace and his bedroom tidy. He likes to organize things in his free time in fact, and kind of gets upset if he gets dirty...
- vain If there is one thing that Brennan takes pride in, it's physical appearance. He can be terribly shallow in that way, and is convinced that he is the most beautiful person on the face of the planet. It might not be true, but damn he sure as hell thinks it is. He tends to look down on people with "less than desirable" features... and that's in his opinion. He also can become very jealous of people who look better than him. He literally cannot see his own faults, he'll try and debunk every single one if you throw them at him.
- blunt Remember how he's honest? Well that extends a little into the realm of "he's-a-jerk" because he tells people those things that they don't necessarily want to hear. Your nose is a little crooked? Already know about it? Too bad, he wants to tell you about that and about why it bothers him.
- lazy/doesn't like to get his hands dirty Studying and music are about the extent of his attitude when it comes to actually doing hard work. He doesn't like to do more than what is absolutely necessary, forget extra credit he'll just do well in his studies so he doesn't need it. And physical labor? Why, what a brutish thing for you to expect him to do! He could never lower himself to that.
- arrogant Yeah, when you think you walk on water things don't always turn out so well. Fact of the matter is, Bren thinks he's fantastic. He's the sort of person who wants the rest of the world to know it too. There's no denying, he's confident in himself... even when he really shouldn't be.
- shallow Yeah, he's about as deep as a puddle. He's the sort of person who judges others by gossip and stereotypes, and would probably be blown away to be proven wrong in such a scenario. He tries to surround himself by good looking people, and thinks that you need to be pretty to be good company apparently.
- cowardly Yeah, self-preservation is a big deal for this guy. He's certainly not the sort to jump between someone else and a bullet. In fact, he's more likely to dive behind someone half his size and start squealing that they have to protect him. In a dangerous situation he'll either full-on freeze up, or run the hell away, or, as aforementioned, use someone else as a human shield. He's not really a fan of confrontation.
- cannot keep thoughts to self Literally. He isn't even consciously aware of it, but he always says what he thinks out loud. Be it mumbling under his breath or full-on statements. He's not quite aware of it really, it just happens. This means he says things that really really should be kept to himself. Not on purpose... that's just the way things work.
ADDITIONAL INFO | Being a wizard born amidst muggles is really part of the reason he has such a big ego. Yes, he's completely oblivious to the fact that some wizards look down on muggleborns. He thinks he's a shining star among his family, and absolutely loves the fact that he is part of Hogwarts school. Originally from the states, his family moved to Britain (was it luck or fate? who really knows...) where he received his letter a mere three months later and was enrolled in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Best thing that ever happened to him, in his opinion.
